Company Presentation – Hybride SA
My name is Dominique Valentin, and I represent Hybride SA, a Swiss company established 36 years ago with the aim of being a contract-based subcontractor working from detailed technical specifications. Our clients come from a wide range of high-tech sectors, including medical, aerospace, space, watchmaking, academia, and innovation hubs, as well as from the broader sensor and instrumentation industries.
Hybride SA is based on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and we serve clients all over the world—from Singapore to the United States, and from Spain to Australia.
Technological Expertise
From the very beginning, we focused on high-precision processes, particularly chip-on-board technologies. We specialise in placing bare dies directly on PCBs and performing wire bonding, as well as flip-chip assembly using both mass reflow and thermo-compression methods.
We also offer encapsulation capabilities such as glob top, tailored primarily for small-scale, high-precision production. Currently, the smallest component we are able to place automatically at an industrial level is 01005 format (0.3 x 0.4 mm).
Flexible Production Approach
At Hybride SA, we made the strategic decision early on not to set up traditional production lines. Instead, we operate a flexible, modular workshop model with independent production cells. This enables us to switch between products quickly—handling one product in the morning and another in the afternoon—without waiting for full-line adjustments.
Thanks to this structure, we can support a wide range of production volumes, from prototypes and small batches (a few units, tens or hundreds) to full industrial runs of up to 100,000 or 200,000 units, all within our comfort zone.
We work closely with customers during this transformation phase, helping them move from lab-scale production to industrial maturity.
Local Commitment and Values
One of our core values is a strong commitment to the socio-economic development of our local region. More than half of our employees live in the village where we are based, and we primarily work with Swiss and European suppliers.
Why Attend Medinov
We have been participating in the Medinov show for the past five years. It’s an important event aligned with our communication strategy. Unlike large-scale trade shows where we often feel anonymised, Medinov provides a focused environment over two days, allowing us to meet with the key players in the medical sector and present our services in the most effective way possible.
WIKIGIGA as a Strategic Platform
It was during Medinov that I discovered the WIKIGIGA platform, which I see as a valuable communication tool. For us, it serves as a springboard to connect with future clients and expand our business visibility. I believe it will have a real impact on our upcoming opportunities
