Hello, I’m Christian Arnaud Goddet, from the company GERAL. We are based in Ain, Rhône-Alpes, and we design and manufacture electrical and electronic equipment for a variety of industries: medical, mining and quarrying, energy, and more.
Our work often begins with a client idea. We design and build electrical and electronic control products for industrial machines.
Our offer is fully integrated and includes:

GÉRAL is part of the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group, headquartered near Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport, with 3,000 employees and subsidiaries across France and abroad.
Expertise and Know-how
At our Belley site, we are equipped for electrical and electronic manufacturing. We run two SMT lines, including SPI and AOI inspection systems.
We’ve developed our own custom testing solutions for both electrical and electronic assemblies. This allows us to offer a comprehensive service: design, manufacturing, testing, and consulting (methods and industrialisation).

Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy is built on a threefold approach:

We’ve invested in PCB repair systems to reduce the strain on raw materials. We are also testing solutions that include reused components.
I personally oversee CSR for the manufacturing division and represent all the group’s subsidiaries on these matters.

GÉRAL stands out as a problem solver. When a prospect visits, I want them to leave thinking: “GÉRAL will take care of it.”
Having a single point of contact for both electrical and electronic aspects of a machine is a major advantage.
Our Belley facility has about 300 staff, and I manage electrical and electronic subcontracting there in line with our CSR values and company ethos.

We are looking for motivated individuals who find meaning in their work. We’re actively recruiting engineers and technicians for our site in Ain.

We have held ISO 14001 certification for many years — long before it was trendy. It reflects our commitment to environmental respect.

We need to find solutions to produce at lower cost, using fewer raw materials.
